About Boon
I was born in the north of Thailand and I have been driving visitors around Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai for more than twenty years. I started with a tuk-tuk, waiting at the train station with a handwritten sign. Then came a sedan, then an SUV, and now the Toyota minivan. My guests come from Australia, Singapore, India, Belgium, Portugal, the United States and many other places, and some of them have been coming back since the tuk-tuk days.
It is just me and my van. You write to me, I answer, and on the day I am the one at your hotel. If you book me for several days you have the same driver the whole time, and by the second day I usually know how you like your coffee.
I speak Thai and English. I enjoy explaining the temples, the food and a bit of northern Thai life along the way, and if you would rather look out of the window in peace, that is fine too.

The van
A Toyota minivan with air conditioning, comfortable seats for 2 to 9 guests and room for luggage in the back. Fuel, tolls, parking and cold water are always included in the price.
I keep it clean and serviced, and I drive the mountain roads the way I would with my own family in the back. Guests mention the safe driving in almost every review.
